Pacy Labs Private Limited ("Brewtal", "we", "us") operates getbrewtal.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights over it.

This policy is compliant with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), and any amendments thereto.

This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors and users of getbrewtal.com, pre-booking customers, Chai Bomb sample recipients, BrewtalGo trial participants, B2B enquirers, and anyone who interacts with Brewtal digitally or in person.

A. Data you provide directly

• Name, email address, and phone number collected via interest/waitlist forms, pre-booking, and contact enquiries on the website

• Delivery address and billing details collected at the time of pre-booking or purchase

• Payment information processed securely by Razorpay. Brewtal does not store your card number, UPI ID, or banking credentials.

• Product feedback and survey responses shared by testers via WhatsApp, email, or in-person conversations

• WhatsApp communication history where you reach out to Brewtal directly for trials, feedback, or support

B. Data collected automatically

• IP address, browser type, and device information

• Pages visited, time spent on the site, and click behaviour collected via Google Analytics

• Session identifiers and cookie data

C. Data from third parties

• Lead information from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad surveys collected only with your consent at the time of filling the survey, and used only to follow up on the specific product you expressed interest in

3  Why We Collect Your Data

• To process and fulfil pre-bookings and future orders

• To communicate with you about your order, trial, sample delivery, or support query

• To send Chai Bomb samples and coordinate BrewtalGo home trials

• To gather product feedback and improve our products and services

• To notify pre-booking customers of launch updates, confirmed pricing, and delivery timelines

• To send marketing communications only if you have explicitly opted in

• To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations (GST, accounting records, DPDPA)

• To analyse website traffic and improve user experience via Google Analytics

Getbrewtal.com uses cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website this involves Google collecting anonymised usage data on our behalf.

• Razorpay to securely process pre-booking and purchase payments

• Logistics and delivery partners your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared only at the point of dispatch

• Google Analytics anonymised, aggregated website usage data only

• Legal and regulatory authorities if required by a valid court order, government directive, or applicable law

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial gain.

6  Trial Participants, Specific Notice

If you have received Chai Bombs for sampling or are trialling a BrewtalGo machine:

• Your contact details are used solely to coordinate sample delivery, machine loan logistics, and feedback collection

• Your feedback may be used internally for product development. We will ask for your explicit permission before referencing your name or direct quotes publicly in any marketing material.

• BrewtalGo machines loaned for trial remain the property of Pacy Labs Private Limited at all times and must be returned upon request

• WhatsApp conversations with Brewtal team members are treated as confidential and are not shared externally

7  Data Retention

• Pre-booking and order data: retained for a minimum of 3 years for accounting and GST compliance

• Marketing and waitlist data: retained until you opt out or request deletion

• Trial and feedback data: retained for product development purposes and reviewed periodically

• Google Analytics data: governed by Google's data retention settings 

• B2B client data: retained for the duration of the subscription plus 3 years for legal and accounting purposes

8  Your Rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data Brewtal holds about you

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data

• Request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)

• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

• Nominate a representative for the exercise of your data rights

Brewtal takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data including HTTPS encryption on the website, secure payment processing via Razorpay, and restricted internal access to personal data. No electronic transmission method is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, notify us immediately at support@getbrewtal.com.

10  Children's Privacy

Our website and products are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
